Clocks

Clock displays show the current time and date, essential for many digital signage applications.

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add New and select the Time category.
  3. Choose Clock as the source.
  4. Click Configure to set up the clock.

Enter a Name (required) and an optional Description.

Setting Description
Display Format What to show: Time Only, Date Only, or Date & Time
Use 24-Hour Format Display time in 24-hour format instead of 12-hour AM/PM
Show Seconds Toggle seconds display on or off
Timezone Enter an IANA timezone string (e.g., America/New_York) or local to use the display device’s timezone
  • Use Date & Time format for lobby or office displays where both are useful.
  • Set Timezone to local for displays that should always reflect the device’s local time, or enter a specific IANA timezone (e.g., America/Chicago) to lock the clock to a fixed zone regardless of where the display is located.
  • Show Seconds is most useful in meeting rooms or other settings where precise timing matters.

  1. Check the Timezone setting. Enter a specific IANA timezone (e.g., America/New_York) or local to use the device’s system clock.
  2. Verify the display device is online and its system clock is accurate.
  3. Refresh the display.

  3. Verify the content is assigned to a layout that is active on the display.
  • Use high contrast colors for readability from a distance.
  • Pair with a weather display for a complete information zone.
  • Choose Date & Time format when date context helps viewers.
