Employee Schedules

Display employee schedules on your store screens so staff can see who’s working, when shifts start, and who’s on the floor right now. Connect one or more schedule providers and they all feed into a single, unified schedule display.

Source How it connects
ZoomShift Calendar feed URL (iCal)
Sling Sling OAuth
Google Sheets Google Sheets OAuth

You can connect multiple sources — schedules from all providers appear together.

The schedule shows a list of employees with their shift times, current status (on shift or upcoming), and position color coding.

  1. Navigate to Content in the sidebar (URL: /admin/content).
  2. Click the Workforce tab (also accessible at /admin/workforce-schedules).
  3. Click Add Schedule Source.
  4. Choose a Source Type: ZoomShift, Sling, or Google Sheets.
  5. Enter a Name, paste the Calendar Feed URL (for ZoomShift: Profile → Calendar App Sync → copy “All Shifts” feed URL), and set the Sync Interval (default 6 hours).
  6. Save.

To show schedules on a display, go to the Hub tab, click Add New, and select Employees. Connect your sources via the Workforce page first, then configure the display options below.

Setting Description
Positions Filter to show only specific positions
Departments Filter to show only specific departments
Max Shifts Maximum shifts to display (default 50)
Days Ahead How many days of shifts to show (1–14, default 1)
Display Format List View or other available formats
Highlight Currently Working Highlight employees currently on shift
  • Place the schedule display near the time clock or in the break room where staff check in.
  • Use a portrait-orientation display for list format — it shows more rows.
  • Enable Show currently working to highlight who’s on the floor right now.
  • Use position and department filters if you have a large team and want to show only relevant schedules per display.
  • Combine the schedule with a clock display in the same layout so staff can see the current time alongside shifts.

Schedule isn’t updating. Check that the connected schedule source is still active in the Workforce tab. For ZoomShift, verify the feed URL hasn’t changed. For Sling or Google Sheets, check the connection in Account > Connections. Use Refresh to force an immediate update.

Only some shifts are showing. Check the Max shifts and Days ahead settings. If either is set too low, some shifts may be hidden. Also check position and department filters.

Employee names are wrong. Schedule data comes directly from the connected provider. Update names in ZoomShift, Sling, or the Google Sheet — changes will appear at the next refresh.
