Weather
The weather display shows live conditions and forecasts for any location. It updates automatically, so your display always reflects current weather without any manual work.
How to add weather
Section titled “How to add weather”- Go to Content in the sidebar.
- Click Add New and select the Weather category.
- Enter your location and choose your display style.
- Click Create.
Setting your location

Tip: ZIP codes and coordinates give the most precise match, especially for common city names.
Display modes
Section titled “Display modes”Choose how much weather information to show:
Current conditions — Shows temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind speed, UV index, and a weather icon. Good for a standard weather zone on any display.
Icon only — Shows just the weather icon and temperature. Great for small zones where space is tight.
Hourly forecast — Shows the coming hours with temperature and conditions for each. Useful when people need to plan their day.
Daily forecast — Shows the upcoming days with high/low temperatures and conditions. You can show up to 14 days ahead.
Choose Fahrenheit or Celsius (Imperial or Metric). The unit setting applies to temperatures and wind speeds throughout the display.
- If you have multiple locations — say, different store locations across a region — create a separate weather item for each and assign each to the right display.
- The weather updates every 30 minutes by default. You can set a different Refresh Interval (5–1440 minutes) in the configuration.
- For a wall-mounted lobby screen, the daily forecast mode works well because viewers can take in the week at a glance.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Location not found. Try a different format — ZIP code or coordinates often work when a city name doesn’t match. Check the spelling and try a nearby larger city if needed.
Weather isn’t updating. Weather refreshes automatically on its schedule. If it seems stuck, check the internet connection on the display device. If the problem persists, try removing and re-adding the weather content.
Wrong location showing. Open the content settings and verify the location field. Use coordinates for the most precise match.
Temperature seems off. Check that you’ve selected the right units (Fahrenheit vs. Celsius). If the units are correct, the “feels like” temperature accounts for wind chill and humidity, which is why it may differ from the actual temperature.
