Scheduling content

Every screen has exactly one schedule, and you edit it as a week calendar directly in the screen’s detail panel. There’s no separate schedule to create and no assign step — open the screen, drag blocks onto the calendar, done.

You need at least one Design to schedule. A Design is a set of Pages that plays in sequence on a screen. Create or browse your Designs at Designs (/admin/designs).

  1. Click Zones in the sidebar.
  2. Click any display card to open its detail panel.
  3. The Screen section of the panel shows the week calendar — seven day columns over a 24-hour vertical axis.
  1. In the week calendar, click and drag on a day column to draw the time window. The block snaps to 15-minute intervals.
  2. Click the new block to assign a Design to it.
  3. Repeat on other days or time slots as needed.

That’s the whole flow. The screen picks up the change on its next sync — no extra save step.

  • Move — drag the block to a new position on the same day.
  • Resize — drag the top or bottom edge of the block.
  • Change Design — double-click the block and choose a different Design from the picker.
  • Remove — click the × on the block to delete it from that day.

The hatched bands on the calendar mark the screen’s night-mode window — the hours the screen is dark. Content blocks can’t be placed inside those hours. To change when the screen sleeps, drag the wake/sleep boundary on the calendar.

Place a “Morning Specials” Design from 9 AM to 12 PM on Mon–Sat columns, a “Full Catalog” Design from 12 PM to 6 PM, and a “Closing Deals” Design from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Place a “Breakfast Menu” Design on all seven day columns from 6 AM to 11 AM, a “Lunch Specials” Design from 11 AM to 3 PM, and a “Dinner Menu” Design from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Content isn’t changing at the scheduled time. Open the screen’s detail panel and confirm the block edges are set to the right hours. Check the screen’s timezone in the Settings section — the calendar always shows local time.

Wrong content is showing. Read the calendar to find which block covers the current time. Click the block to see which Design it points to and verify it’s the one you intended.

Can’t place a block at certain hours. Those hours are inside the screen’s night-mode window (the hatched band). Drag the wake/sleep boundary to move the night window, then draw your content block.
