Account Setup
Section titled “Account Setup”After creating your account, BrandCast walks you through a Chip-led onboarding at /onboarding that covers the essentials. Once past onboarding, complete these setup steps to get the most out of your digital signage platform.
Complete Your Profile
Section titled “Complete Your Profile”Step 1: Open Account Settings
Section titled “Step 1: Open Account Settings”Click your profile icon in the top right corner to open Account Settings. (You can also click Account in the sidebar.)
Step 2: Review Your Profile
Section titled “Step 2: Review Your Profile”The Profile tab shows your account details:

Organization & Branding
Section titled “Organization & Branding”Your company branding — logo, colors, fonts, and tone — is managed under Brands (/admin/brands) and Fonts (/admin/fonts) in the sidebar. The fastest way to populate a brand kit is to enter your website during store setup, which extracts your colors and logo automatically.
Set Up Your First Location
Section titled “Set Up Your First Location”Create a Store
Section titled “Create a Store”Before adding displays, create at least one store location:
- Navigate to Stores in the sidebar
- Click Add Store
- The Store Setup wizard walks you through six steps:
- Business Lookup — search Google Places to pre-fill your business details (skippable)
- Store Name — give your store a name
- Brand — assign the store to a brand (skippable)
- Industry — what type of business this is (helps recommend content)
- Website — we’ll extract your brand colors and logo (skippable)
- Hours — set your operating hours (skippable)
Note: Each display belongs to a store. Create your stores before setting up displays.
Connect Integrations
Section titled “Connect Integrations”Connect external services to enrich your content. Integrations are configured where they’re used:
- Content sources (weather, events, news, tasks, and more) are connected when you add content from the Content Hub (Content > Add New).
- Library sources (cloud services that import images and designs into a store library) are connected from the Integrations section of a store card under Stores.
Important: Only connect services you trust. Review permissions before authorizing.
Notification Preferences
Section titled “Notification Preferences”Control how you receive alerts:
- Open Account Settings > Notifications tab
- Toggle Email notifications on or off
Note: Critical alerts (billing issues, quota exceeded) are always sent to your account email regardless of this setting.
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”To open contextual help for any page, click the help icon in the top bar. The help drawer shows guidance for the current page and an Ask Twig button for personalized assistance.
Security Settings
Section titled “Security Settings”Open Account Settings > Security tab to manage:
- Password — click Change Password to set a new one
- Two-Factor Authentication — click Enable to add an extra layer of security
Billing Setup
Section titled “Billing Setup”Open Account Settings > Billing tab to manage your plan and payment:
- Review your current plan and per-display pricing (pricing is tier-based and drops as you add more displays)
- Click Manage Payments to add or update a payment method (handled securely through Stripe)
- View storage usage, AI credits, active discounts, and billing history
Verify Setup Checklist
Section titled “Verify Setup Checklist”Before creating your first display, confirm:
- Profile name is set
- At least one store is created
- Brand kit (logo, colors, fonts) is set up
- Any content-source integrations you need are connected
- Notification preference is set
- Payment method is added (if required)
