Display Settings

Every per-display setting lives in the Display Detail panel. There is no separate settings page or tab — open the display and make changes inline.

  1. Navigate to Zones in the sidebar (the Zone Management page).
  2. Click the display card you want to configure.
  3. The Display Detail panel opens as a full-screen overlay.

At the top of the panel you’ll find:

  • Display name — click the Rename display pencil to change it. A descriptive name (“Lobby TV”, “Front Window Left”) makes displays easy to find in lists and reports.
  • Device type — the kind of device currently paired (Browser/PWA, Sentinel tier, etc.).
  • Device ID — a unique identifier that matches the ID shown on the display in night mode. Click it to copy.

A telemetry row shows Storage, Temp (temperature), and Memory. On PWA or browser displays these slots appear greyed out — the labels are present but values are not populated — and a note reads “Available on Sentinel devices.” Sentinel devices populate the actual values.

Use Show device details to reveal more, including the display’s current screen resolution.

The Zone control is a set of toggle buttons — Welcome, Discovery, Spotlight, Engage, Internal, and Unassigned — that sets the screen’s role. The selected zone type scopes which Designs the week calendar offers and surfaces dwell-time guidance below the buttons.

The Night Mode section has two momentary buttons — Wake now and Sleep now — that immediately override the display’s scheduled state. Wake now forces the display out of night mode (clears at the next scheduled sleep); Sleep now forces it in (clears at the next scheduled wake). Night mode cannot be disabled — every display sleeps on a schedule to preserve hardware. Set the per-day sleep and wake windows on the week calendar in the display’s Screen section.

The panel shows the display’s current Timezone. Click Change to set a different one. The timezone determines when schedules and night mode take effect, so make sure it matches the screen’s physical location.

The panel shows the display’s current PIN and a New PIN field to set a different one. The PIN is 4–8 alphanumeric characters — the same PIN used for BLE pairing. Click Save to apply it.

The Something isn’t working button under Troubleshoot opens a short guided check that inspects the connection and hands off to Twig. See Troubleshooting for details.

Unpair · Change device on this display swaps the physical device while keeping the display’s name, zone, schedule, and content. Use it when replacing failed or upgraded hardware. See Pairing Devices.

Expand Danger Zone to reveal Delete Display, which permanently removes the display and its configuration. Any paired device is unlinked. This cannot be undone.
