Workforce Tab
The Workforce tab connects to employee scheduling platforms to pull in shift data and display it on your screens.
An info banner explains how it works: “Connect your scheduling platform (ZoomShift, Sling, etc.) to automatically sync employee shifts for display on your signage.”
Sources
Section titled “Sources”The Sources section lists all connected scheduling platforms with a count badge. Click Add Source to connect a new scheduling platform.
Supported platforms include ZoomShift and Sling, among others. Each source card shows:
- Source name and platform
- Sync status (e.g., SUCCESS)
- Last synced date and time
- Sync Now button to force an immediate refresh
- Edit and delete actions
Shifts
Section titled “Shifts”The Shifts section shows synced shifts with a count badge, and a refresh icon to re-fetch. Shifts are read-only here — they come from your connected sources and cannot be added, edited, or deleted from this list; manage them at the source instead.
Three filters sit above the list:
- Date — shows shifts starting on that single day. Defaults to today, and is clearable to see all dates.
- Position and Department — each is a free-text autocomplete whose suggestions are drawn from the positions and departments present in the currently loaded shifts, not a fixed list. Both default to blank (“All positions” / “All departments”).
Each shift row shows the employee’s name, date, start–end time, position, department, and a status chip (Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled, or No Show, color-coded accordingly).
If no shifts match, the list shows No shifts found with a note that shifts appear once you sync your schedule sources. Since the Date filter defaults to today, this is also what you’ll see if your sources are synced but nothing is scheduled for the selected day — check the Date filter as well as the Sources section above.
How Schedules Appear on Displays
Section titled “How Schedules Appear on Displays”Shift data renders as a structured schedule table or list, depending on your layout template. This is useful for back-of-house displays in retail environments where staff need quick visibility into who is working and when.
Schedules update automatically on a regular sync interval — use Sync Now on a source card to pull changes immediately.
