Presentations

Beta: The Presentations integration is currently in beta. Features and availability may change.

Display presentation slides on your screens. Upload a PowerPoint file or connect Google Slides — slides advance automatically, turning any presentation into display content.

What it looks like on a display

Slides appear full-screen, one at a time, advancing automatically at the interval you set. Transitions between slides are smooth fades.

Adding a presentation

Step 1 — Add to the Documents tab

All presentations — whether from Google Slides or an uploaded PowerPoint — are managed in the Documents tab first:

  1. Go to Content and open the Documents tab.
  2. In the Presentations section, click Connect Google to import a Google Slides presentation, or click Upload to upload a PPT or PPTX file.

Step 2 — Create a content source

Once the presentation appears in the Documents tab:

  1. Click Add New in Content Hub.
  2. Select Presentations.
  3. Under Select Presentation, choose the file you connected or uploaded.
  4. Set timing and save.

Settings

Slide duration How long each slide stays on screen (default 8 seconds)
Transition duration Fade transition time between slides (0–3 seconds, default 0.5s)
Fit mode Fill, fit width, or fit height
Background color Color shown behind slides when letterboxed

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • Design slides with large text and simple layouts — they need to be readable on screen from a distance.
  • For content you update regularly, use Google Slides so edits sync automatically.
  • For one-time or static presentations, PowerPoint upload is the simplest option.
  • Set slide duration based on text density — text-heavy slides need more time, image slides can be shorter.

Troubleshooting

Slides look blurry. The source presentation may use a low resolution. Create slides at 1920x1080 or larger for best results on HD displays.

PowerPoint animations aren’t showing. BrandCast converts PowerPoint slides to static images. Animations and transitions from the original file are not preserved — use the built-in transition setting instead.

Google Slides not updating. Check that your Google account is connected in the Documents tab (Content Hub). Use the Refresh button on the presentation card to force an immediate sync.
